Dave proposed to Karen near the Castillo de San Marcos fort in Saint Augustine, and she said "Yes"!  We went back to this special spot for their engagement photographs. Along for the ride were their five beautiful girls for some wonderful family group photos as well. I got the pleasure of putting together some of their favorite pictures into a custom signature guest book for their upcoming wedding in Jacksonville.

Sarah and Michael are a great couple and we're excited about their upcoming wedding! We photographed their engagement session at Jacksonville's Hanna Park near Mayport. If you love natural settings, it's an ideal location offering a paradise of backdrops for any photo shoot. We like the variety, from the freshwater lakes and wooded trails to the majestic sand dunes and beach.

Here is another sample of a custom album designed by Jerry Favorite. This is one of our 30 page montage wedding albums. Each layout is completely original with a modern style of combining multiple images on each page. We strive to create a look that while being on the cutting edge, is still classic and timeless. Our focus is on the subject and showcasing the event with great photography.

Each album tells a story, like Sara and Ryan's beautiful wedding at Marsh Landing Country Club that Jerry photographed. The first "title" page shows the happy couple with the names and wedding date, then it's typically followed by a two page photo spread of their engagement session. (Sara and Ryan had theirs in St. Augustine and Vilano Beach.) The album even includes arriving at Marsh Landing and the "getting ready" shot on the wedding day. Marsh Landing has a great outdoor covered area for the ceremony and lovely banquet room for the reception.

I had the pleasure of photographing Kristina and Andy's engagement session in St. Augustine, Kristina's bridal photos, and their beautiful wedding. The ceremony was at Baymeadows Baptist Church in Jacksonville. This location was very sentimental as Kristina's mother also was married at this church. Embassy Suites was the ideal spot for their lovely reception.

After Kristina and Andy chose their favorite photos, I designed this 40 page, montage album for them. Creating the custom layout is the fun part! Jerry did all the "hard" work, by printing and binding their 11x14 wedding album along with parent and mini albums that are reduced duplicates.

They were a wonderful couple to work with and I enjoyed all their great family and friends too. I am sure they will treasure this keepsake for many, many years!

As we're getting ready for Heather Robertson and David Schultz's wedding tomorrow, we reflected back to their engagement photo session. These highlight some of our favorite images from that afternoon walking around downtown St. Augustine off the inlet and through St. Geroge Street, then on over to Vilano Beach. Our heartfelt congratulations go out to you both!

Here is another beautiful, yet fun, album by Jerry Favorite Photography with the images Tori and Justin chose from their engagement session, bridal photo shoot and wedding. The ceremony was held at historic, brick Riverside Park United Methodist Church. They decorated the lovely Garden Club of Jacksonville with cool pink and black to match the color scheme for their ultimate reception. Tori and Justin remind me of a prince and princess living "happily ever after"!



We love to capture both the candid, photojournalistic style and the traditional, classic images to create a modern twist of the best of both worlds in our photo montage albums.



Tori was absolutely stunning in her wedding gown for these bridal photos we took at our home studio and on location.



Tori and Justin have so much fun together and it really showed in these great engagement photos taken around St. Augustine and throughout their entire wedding day.





Pre-ceremony shots are very special moments with those closet to the bride and groom. Having two photographers allows the bride and groom to have a dedicated shooter capturing these wonderful arriving and getting ready shots.





Having the additional photographer also allows multiple angles and a wide variety of different photographs. So you get both candid images along with the traditional "looking at the camera" shots to choose from.







Rose petals for an afternoon ceremony make a most beautiful church exit. I love it!



Tori did a fantastic job pulling her pink and black color theme throughout the reception decorations.









The Garden Club, located next to the Cummer Museum, has a nice large open area for dining and dancing. Their stage is perfect for a band or DJ (and for the photographer to get great pictures of all the action).

In looking back over last summer's weddings (when it was nice and warm), I pulled up Logan and Aaron's photographs taken at Marineland in St. Augustine. Marineland's Dolphin Conservation Center boasts a spectacular oceanfront setting for such a special occasion. These out-of-towners and their guests flew in from all over for their destination wedding. They enjoyed the beautiful beaches and interacting with the dolphins!

Everyone always asks us, "What are wedding web cards"... So, here are some of them! They are simply 3.5x2.5 photo cards from images we photographed during an engagement session (or sometimes from a bridal session). We include our website and the login information to the bride and groom's personal proofing section. We typically bring the photo "web cards" with us on the day of the wedding to be placed on the guest sign-in table (or with the wedding favors). Family and friends enjoy having an extra memento, plus they can go online to view the photos (usually up before you return from your honeymoon)!

What better way to announce your engagement, than with a great "save the date" photo card!? If your family is anything like ours, they want to know as soon as possible when anything important is happening so they can plan on being there! Save-the-date announcements are a perfect way to make sure your important family and friends have enough notice to reserve your special day in their calendars and to schedule any necessary travel plans. An image of you two from your engagement photo session is a wonderful first impression to your upcoming event!

We have full design and printing capabilities and we enjoy creating custom save the date cards for our happy couples. Our typical size is 5x7 photo cards, but we can do any size you want. They come with envelopes and the option of adding a magnet. We can design the card to your style and color scheme. Here are a few samples:

I was revisiting Danielle's bridal portrait images Jerry photographed at Epping Forest Yacht Club last spring. My goal was to choose one photo to enlarge and print for our bridal show display. As usual, this became a difficult task as I found a dozen or so I just love and all of them would make for a perfect enlargement. I must say, Jerry really knows how to take advantage of a great location like Epping Forest. There are endless possibilities for original poses and settings. Jerry's lighting skills never cease to amaze me (virtually zero adjusting was required). Of course, Danielle is a beautiful subject with a contagious smile!
